For us at CEAC, smart goes beyond connectivity: our SmartHomes generate their own electricity, store and re-use rainwater, are climate resistant, and, importantly, are expandable and future-proof.

Our future-proof design is a key feature of our SmartHomes. Traditionally, the way Jamaican houses are constructed requires retrofitting to accommodate new technology, a process that can be costly and disruptive with unsightly results. We’ve ensured the homeowners have the option of expanding their homes, energy or smart systems, at their own pace, tailored to their budgets and in keeping with advances in technology.

We’ve decided to make our SmartHome concept affordable and integrated into all new homes we build, and so SmartHomes by CEAC cost about the same as other similar-sized houses, but will reduce carbon emissions, withstand future effects of climate change, and save money over time. We think that’s smart.
